Zoltan Magyar 140313March 15 - Zoltán Magyar, the two-time Olympic pommel horse champion, will continue as the President of the Hungarian Gymnastics Federation for the next four years after he was unanimously re-elected in an open vote.

Supported by London 2012 Olympic pommel horse gold medallist and two-time world champion Krisztián Berki, 59-year-old Magyar stood unopposed for the top position, which he has held for the last two years, at the organisation's general assembly in Budapest and said he was "delighted" by his re-election.

He also explained, "the federation has never been as unified as it is now".

Magyar was one of the biggest names in the pommel horse discipline in the 1970s, even having two moves named after him – the Magyar spindle, which involves turning the body in the opposite direction from the circling legs, and the Magyar travel, a crosswise circling travel down the horse.
