Speedo sponsored Florent ManaudouApril 16 - Florent Manaudou, France's London 2012 50 metres freestyle swimming gold medallist, is the latest athlete to become the face of Speedo.

The 22-year-old Olympic champion, who also has two World Championship medals and five European titles to his name, has signed a four-year deal with the swimwear giant which sees him following in the footsteps of the most decorated Olympian in history, America's Michael Phelps, who retired following last summer's Games.

As part of the agreement, Manaudou will wear Speedo swimwear and equipment during forthcoming events including the 15th FINA World Championships in Barcelona later this year.

"Speedo is passionate about supporting swimming in France, and we are delighted to announce this new partnership with Florent.

"We look forward to working closely with him to inspire people to swim throughout his future successes."

Australia's thirteen-time Paralympic S9 swimming champion Matt Cowdrey was also named as a Speedo brand ambassador earlier this month.
