149865799April 26 - New Britain coach Damian Jennings has announced his preliminary squad of 20 players for the Eurobasket Women, which is due to take place in France this June.

Olympic stars such as 20-year-old Harvard Crimsons Temi Fagbenle (pictured above), who won the Ivy League Rookie of the Year award in March, and Jo Leedham, Britian's leading scorer at London 2012, have both been named in the provisional squad.

Jennings, who took over as coach from Tom Maher last month, also includes two of the players he coached in Britain's under-20 team last year, in the form of centre Cheridene Green and forward Erin McGarrahan.

"The EuroBasket creates a great test for us post-Olympics and we have been able to select a real blend of experience and youthful talent," said Jennings, assistant to Maher at last summer's Olympics.
