kategilessmallMay 14 - Crewroom, the specialist sportswear brand who supply kit to Britain's Olympic rowers and canoeists, have signed a deal with London Duathlon to become Official Sportswear Partner for 2013.


The company, founded in 2001 by former GB squad rower Kate Giles, is renowned for its innovative designs and has a proven track record in delivering bespoke kit to mass participation sports events including the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon and the Royal Parks Foundation Ultra.

Crewroom, who also sponsor the London Youth Games, will provide the finishers shirts for all London Duathlon participants.

"We've been in business for 12 years and, with a proud heritage in the rowing world, we've used our knowledge and understanding of performance garments and the needs of endurance athletes to create our product range for mass participation events," said Giles.

"We are based in our beautiful capital - London town – and our offices are on the banks of the River Thames in Putney, just a walk away from Richmond Park.

"London and the surrounding community are incredibly important to us so, understandably, we jumped at the chance to work with the London Duathlon."

Crewroom, who are also official clothing suppliers to the Xchanging Boat Race, plan to host running and cycling training sessions near to their base at Putney, on Putney Hard.
