Sport Chek has today unveiled the first-ever adidas Canadian Olympic Team High Performance Collection of apparel and footwearNovember 6 - Adidas' first ever Canadian Olympic team high performance collection of apparel and footwear has been unveiled today by retailer Sport Chek.

Sport Chek is the Official Sports Store of Canada's Olympic team and, after announcing the ground breaking partnership with Adidas and the Canadian Olympic team several months ago, unveiled the 170 item collection to the public for the first time today.

"This is the most accessible and highest performance line of Olympic clothing that Canadians have ever seen," said Michael Medline, President of Canadian Tire Sports and Sport Chek.

"We are so proud to partner with Adidas and Canada's Olympic team to provide performance apparel and bring this entire collection to Canadians and athletes at 170 Sport Chek locations across the country."

The Olympic-branded collection includes Terrex boots, compression shorts, stretch primaloft jackets, Techfit short sleeve tops, an ultimate three-Stripe fleece full zip hoody as well as socks, gloves, sandals, sports bras and base layers.

Also in the collection are the all new Adipure Crazy Quick running shoes that Canadian medallists will be wearing on the podium at Sochi 2014.

The Collection, which is being marketed by seven of Canada's Olympic hopefuls, including Chris Del Bosco, Erik Guay, Charles Hamelin, Kaillie Humphries, Meaghan Mikkelson, Jon Montgomery and Maëlle Ricker, is claimed to appeal to athletes training at all levels within sport.
