Seven ski jumpers will represent Canada in Sochi, including three women ©Canadian Olympic Team January 26 - Canada is sending three ski jumpers to compete in the inaugural Olympic women's event at Sochi 2014. 

They will join their four male counterparts on the plane to Russia, after being unveiled in Vancouver today.

Atsuko Tanaka, Alexandra Pretorius and Taylor Henrich will take part in the first Olympic ski jumping event for women.

Pretorius won a Grand Prix gold medal at Hinterzarten, Germany last year, while Tanaka finished fourth at a World Cup event in Sapporo, Japan, this year.

Henrich's most notable individual result was fifth at the Innsbruck 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games.

The male Canadian quartet is made up of Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes and Trevor Morrice, who are returning to the Olympics for a second time, and Games debutants Dusty Korek and Matthew Rowley.

Boyd-Clowes secured a top-10 World Cup finish this year in Austria, while Morrice has come out of retirement to compete in Sochi.

Korek won Youth Olympic bronze in the mixed team event alongside Henrich at Innsbruck .

They were presented during a special unveiling by Canadian Olympic Team partner, Teck, at the Robson Square Ice Rink.

The women's single ski jumping event at the Olympics is from the normal hill.

Men will also compete from the large hill and participate in the team competition.
