The live stream, which will be on the IPC's official website, will feature commentary from Will Downing.

He previously lent his voice to the 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships, as well as for ParalympicSport.TV at London 2012 and regularly commentates for Irish broadcaster Setanta.

Due to begin on Saturday (April 5), the Championships will the biggest in IPC powerlifting history with 365 athletes from 68 countries set to make their way to Dubai for the week-long tournament.

The competition, which is set to feature all 20 of the current world record holders, is also set to showcase some of the biggest rivalries and more than 30 medallists from London 2012 beginning their road to Rio 2016.

The highlight of the tournament will likely be the challenge to break the 300 kilogram mark in the men's over 108kg event.

The bar is currently set by Iran's Mansour Pourmirzaei who lifted a world record breaking 276 kilograms at the 2013 IPC Asian Open Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

He will have to stave off competition from compatriot and Paralympic champion Siamand Rahman who remains confident he will break the 300kg mark following claims that he consistently lifts the weight, and more, in training.

In the women's events, Turkey's Nazmiye Muslu's under 41kg world record of 100kg has not been touched since the 2013 IPC Powerlifting European Open Championships in Aleksin, Russia, but the Paralympic champion faces a repeat of the three-way fight from London 2012 to retain her position as the best in the world.

Bronze medallist at these Games, Great Britain's Zoe Newson returns to international action following a series of wins at national level, and will be breathing down Muslu's neck for a chance to better her result from London 2012.

China's silver medallist Zhe Cui should also prove stern competition for the Turk as she looks to better the 97kg she lifted at the Paralympic Games in London.
