Fans are being given another chance to snap up tickets for the 2014 Basketball World Cup ©FIBAApril 15 - More tickets for the sold-out 2014 Basketball World Cup final will go on sale today following high demand in the first two months, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has announced.

Additional finals passes, which were all bought in a matter of hours when they were first available, will be released for public sale from 12:00 Spanish time (GMT+1) online at www.fiba.com/spain2014/tickets.

These tickets will grant combined access to the World Cup final, which could feature reigning world champions the United States and top-seeded side Lithuania at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on September 14, and the third-place game the day before in Madrid's Palacio de los Deportes, which could see hosts Spain and FIBA's number three nation Argentina going head to head.

They are available only to fans who have purchased a venue pass for any of the six host cities, with venue passes for Bilbao, Granada and Madrid - more than 80 per cent of which sold out in the first few days of sale - also becoming available again today.

Venue passes are the easiest way to access all the games taking place in any of the six host cities - Bilbao, Gran Canaria, Granada and Sevilla for the group phase, and Barcelona and Madrid for the finals.

Fans can also save 20 per cent on the official price for the individual sessions, with passes now available from €103.20 (£85.22/$142.66) for 15 group phase games.

Any remaining passes will be added to the limited supply of the two remaining ticket types yet to be unveiled - the day passes, which go on sale on May 5, and the session tickets, being made available on July 1.

The 2014 Basketball World Cup will get underway on August 30.
