SportAccord and ARISF have signed a Memorandum of Understanding meaning the latter will become an official partner of the SportAccord International Convention ©ARISFA slice of the profits from next year's SportAccord International Convention will go to Association of IOC Recognised International Sports Federations (ARISF), after the pair signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The signing came during a meeting in Budapest between ARISF President Raffaele Chiulli and Marius Vizer, President of SportAccord.

As an official partner of the Convention, ARISF's logo will be present on all advertising material for the 2015 SportAccord International Convention, with the organisation also getting a booth and the necessary delegate passes, rooms and meeting facilities for the event next year.

ARISF, which now consists of 35 international sports federations, will also be given 10 per cent of the dividends received from the SportAccord Convention.

In return, ARISF has agreed to advertise the Convention, which could quadruple in size next year as President Vizer continues to stamp his mark on the organisation, on its website, press releases and other media platforms.

The meeting in Hungary's capital was also attended by SportAccord general director Vlad Marinescu, George Yerolimpos, director of the Multi-Sport Events Unit at SportAccord, and Fabio Pigozzi, President of the International Sports Medicine Federation (FIMS).

Alongside the MoU, the three organisations, SportAccord, ARIFS and FIMS, agreed to work closely towards their common goals, most notably, the protection of the health of athletes and the fight against doping in sports.

The venue for the 2015 SportAccord International Convention is yet to be decided, however, three cities, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Durban in South Africa and Sochi in Russia have expressed their interest to host the event, with Brazil also throwing its hat in the ring to host the Convention.

The dates of the Convention are also unclear at this stage, but it is thought the dates will be around the same time as that of the this year's edition, which was held in Belek in Turkey from April 6 to 11.
