Finals of the World Senior Karate Championships will be broadcast live across the globe ©WKFNext weekend's World Senior Karate Championships will, for the third year in a row, be broadcast live across the globe.

The 22nd edition of the World Karate Federation's (WKF) flagship event will be available to watch for fans in 120 countries online or on television.

A total of seven cameras will be filming the action on the central tatami on both Saturday (November 8) and Sunday (November 9) to provide images for live viewing on Eurovision, the official WKF YouTube Channel, as well as to the growing number of television partners all around the world.

The continued coverage of the World Karate Championships is part of WKF's wider commitment to fans across the world, "to offer to all karate fans and sports fans in general, a high quality live show, which fits the image of our discipline.

According to a WKF statement, it also "represents an investment for the WKF, but we think that Karate deserves it.

"And as athletes offer the best quality of karate, it is our mission to offer images that reflect the beauty of our sport."

The World Senior Karate Championships are take place at the ÖVB arena in Bremen, Germany, from November 5 until 9.

An estimated 1,200 athletes from at least 130 nations are expected to participate in the event.

Running alongside its live television footage, the WKF YouTube Channel will also provide backstage scenes during the Championships, interviews, actions shots and a live stream of the finals for those countries that do not have live television footage.
