Mongolia’s National Olympic Committee (NOC) have thanked International Basketball Federation (FIBA) official Koh Koon Tek for delivering a FIBA-Asia coaching and refereeing course in the country.

The Singaporean official held the course at Olympic House in Mongolia’s capital city Ulaanbaatar, where he was joined by B Orgil, acting secretary general of the Mongolian Basketball Association.

The course attracted 40 participants from all over Mongolia, reflecting the growing interest the country has in the sport following promising performances at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games.

Both the Mongolian men’s and women’s teams finished in the top eight in the basketball tournaments in the South Korean city.
