The Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) today signed an agreement with Technogym making the fitness equipment manufacturer its technical sponsor.

The purpose of the agreement is to spread “Wellness”, a lifestyle promoted by Technogym oriented towards improving quality of life through education on regular physical activity, a balanced diet and a positive mental attitude.

It is aimed at benefiting the COE’s intense training activities, especially its Master in High Performance Sports course, by promoting a worldwide sports equipment brand among the future coaches of elite Spanish athletes.

First launched in 1992, the Master in High Performance Sports course combines a mixture of distance learning and classroom teaching with a big focus on practical learning.

The main learning objectives of the course are to refine and update the scientific and technical professionals in the field of sports training across different training environments.

After the signing ceremony, President of the Spanish Olympic Committee, Alejandro Blanco, expressed his satisfaction over the agreement.
