A six-strong World Cup line-up for next season has been unveiled by International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Alpine Skiing, with events due to take place in Austria, Italy, Swtzerland and France before two legs in United States.

Action is due to begin with giant slalom, super-G and super combined events in the Austrian resort of Abtenau on January 15 to 17 before slalom and more giant slalom races are held over the following two days in Tarvisio, Italy.

St. Moritz in Switzerland will then host two slalom events between January 21 and 23, before super-G and the first downhill races are scheduled for Tignes, France, from January 25 to 29 .

Both World Cup Finals are scheduled to take place in United States, with the giant slalom and slalom series to conclude in Aspen between February 24 and 26 before the downhill and super-G season comes to a close at Beaver Creek from February 28 until March 4.

A series of continental and other events have also been announced.

This includes Europa Cup fixtures, set to include events in the Dutch resort of Landgraaf, in both Pitztal and Kuhtai in Austria and in La Molina and Espot in Spain.

The Europa Cup finals will be staged in Obersaxen, Switzerland, from March 16 to 18, featuring giant slalom, super-G and super-combined.

Two Asia Cups will also be held as the coundown continues until the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Paralympics, including at the Yongpyong Alpine Centre in which action is scheduled to take place during the Games.

The season, due to be highlighted by the World Championships in Panorama, Canada, will begin this month when slalom and giant slalom races are included in the Audi Quattro Winter Games in Queenstown, New Zealand.

"The 2015-16 calendar features some familiar destinations as well as some new venues, and more opportunities for Alpine skiers to compete at a high level this far out from a Paralympic Winter Games," said Dimitrije Lazarovski, head of IPC Snowsports.

"There are also more speed events on the calendar this year and we are really pleased to be on the programme of events like the Audi Quattro Winter Games.

"This will allow us to expand our fanbase after two successful seasons that included the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games and the 2015 World Championships."
