Broadcaster Sunset+Vine has secured the production rights for the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Non Live Programming for events between 2016 and 2019, it has been announced.

The British-based company, part of the Tinopolis Group, have entered into a four-year contract with the governing body, which includes the official highlights and official film for each of the organisation’s major events.

The agreement covers 20 programming elements, such as the ICC’s flagship magazine programme, ICC Cricket 360, a weekly show which provides the latest cricket news.

“ICC look forward to strengthening their relationship with Sunset+Vine as both live and non-live content creation become a joint venture for us moving forwards,” ICC general manager for commercial Campbell Jamieson said.

“We are sure that the appointment of S+V will create a consolidated and accomplished product for all ICC TV output, which will delight and engage fans the world over.”

The news follows the broadcaster successfully bidding for the ICC’s live events production contract for the same period.

The deal has begun with the ICC Under-19 World Cup, which began in Bangladesh on January 27 and concludes on February 14.

It also features a number of the ICC’s top events such as the ICC World Twenty20, which gets underway in India in March, the 2018 World Women’s Twenty20 in the West Indies and the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales.

“We are absolutely delighted to have now been recognised for the quality of our non-live programming production with the award of this significant contract from the ICC,” Sunset+Vine chairman Jeff Foulser said.

“We’re committed to delivering world class and comprehensive programming that best represents the ICC’s cricket interests, and look forward to starting work immediately.”

The company has a strong relationship with the sport of cricket having produced 50 live Test matches for British broadcaster Channel Four between 1999 and 2005.

They also currently produce daily highlights shows of both England’s domestic Test series and one-day internationals for Channel Five.
