United States' Karly Shorr and Switzerland's Jonas Boesiger were the qualification leaders at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Snowboard World Cup in Špindlerův Mlýn in the Czech Republic.

Shorr, sixth at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, will be looking to continue the form that has seen her finish third and second at the last two World Cup legs in Mammoth Mountain in United States and Bokwang in South Korea.

She produced an impressive qualification score of 90.50 points to lead Britain's Katie Ormerod and fellow American Jessika Jenson.

Ormerod, chasing a first World Cup medal of the season, scored 84.76 points and Jenson, silver medallist at Mammoth Mountain, posted 82.00.

Hungary's Anna Gyarmati, winner of the Mammoth Mountain event, finished down in 12th in the absence of Bokwang and Cardrona World Cup winner Jamie Anderson of the US, leader of the overall standings.
