British Ski and Snowboard have named 13 athletes in their senior squad for the 2016-2017 season.

The group is headed by slalom specialist Dave Ryding, who finished 22nd in the International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup for the discipline at the end of the last campaign.

He also qualified for the FIS World Cup finals in St Mortiz, Switzerland, where he came home in 15th place.

The 29-year-old will be joined in the squad by 21-year-old Jack Gower, winner of an FIS super-G race on the North American circuit in Sun Valley.

In the women's squad Alex Tilley, who earned a 19th place finish in the World Cup giant slalom in Lienz in Austria, has been selected.

She is working with coach Noel Baxter, a former Olympian, to become a consistent skier on the World Cup stage.

Her team-mate Charlie Guest finished 32nd in the slalom at the World Championships in Vail-Beaver Creek in 2015 and also takes her place in the squad.

Britain has also selected  Jai Geyer, Nick Moynihan, Roy Steudle, Max Baggio, Graeme Price and Alex Barounos in the men's squad, and Nicole Ritchie, Cara Brown and Alice MacAulay in the women's line-up.

In addition, 29 under-21 and under-18 athletes have been named.
