England claimed a surprise victory in an all-British clash against Scotland at the World Wheelchair-B Curling Championships in Lohja.

British curling talent is almost exclusively found north of the border but it was the English who claimed a shock 6-2 win during the second batch of round-robin matches.

Skipped by Rosemary Lenton, England picked up a shot in the first two ends before Scotland, led by Winter Paralympian Aileen Neilson, drew level with singles in ends three and four.

England would then click into gear and score with a stone in all four remaining ends to complete their victory.
