TechnoAlpin will help at IPC Para snow sport events during 2017 ©IPC

TechnoAlpin have been unveiled as the official supplier for three International Paralympic Committee (IPC) World Para Snow Sports Championships this year.

The company who specialise in making snow have already given their help to the World Para Alpine Skiing Championships held in Tarvisio, Italy, last month.

They will also provide assistance at the IPC World Para Snowboard Championships, which start today in Big White, Canada, and are also heading the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships being held at the German resort of Finsterau between February 10 and 19.

“Para snow sports continue to grow and the quality of the athletes is improving all the time,” said IPC chief executive Xavier Gonzalez.

“World Championships must meet those rising standards, offering courses that challenge athletes and provide the perfect conditions for them to reach their best.

“I believe that TechnoAlpin are the perfect partner to help us reach those demands.”

Erich Gummerer, TechnoAlpin’s chief executive, said the company are “excited” to be working with the IPC.

“Everyone should experience the best snow quality and that’s why we fully support all three Para snow sports in their work,” he said.
