The schedule has been confirmed for the sixth International Para Ice Hockey Tournament, which will begin in Torino in Italy later this month.

Action will take place at the Palatazzoli Stadium, a venue used for the 2006 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

Hosts Italy will welcome Canada, Norway and South Korea for the four-team event, which will be a good indication of form before the World Championships take place in Gangneung in South Korea between April 11 and 20.

Paralympic bronze medallists and World Championship silver medallists Canada are once again favourites after winning the last edition of the tournament in Torino, where they beat Italy in the final.

Italy were fifth at the 2015 World Championships and have met Norway twice in friendlies this season, with both countries claiming one win each after penalty shoot-outs.

South Korea will be looking for form prior to their home World Championships, as well as the Winter Paralympics they will host in Pyeongchang next year.

Competition will begin on February 27 with Italy playing Norway and Canada meeting South Korea at the start of round-robin play.

The following day will see Canada meet Italy and the Koreans play Norway, with the hosts meeting the Asian nation on March 1 before the Canadians and Norwegians collide.

Semi finals will be played on March 3 before the final and third/fourth play-off on March 4.

The competition will be shown live on Rai Sport channels with entry free for fans.
