International Ski Federation (FIS) Ski Jumping World Cup action is due to resume tomorrow with male and female events beginning on different sides of the world.

Ljubno's Logarska Dolina will play host to the women's event in what marks the anti-penultimate leg before the Nordic Ski World Championships in Lahti.

Local hero Mata Vtic claimed a home win last year in the Slovenia resort, and teenage star Ema Klinec will be hoping to repeat the feat this time around.

The 18-year-old claimed three medals at last month's Junior World Championships in Park City.

She only lies in ninth place on the World Cup standings, however, as Japan's Sara Takanashi continues to lead.

Takanashi sits on 1,195 points, 267 clear of team-mate Yuki Ito.

Norway's Maren Lundby lies in third on 789.

Men's World Cup action will take place in Sapporo earlier in the day.

Poland's Kamil Stoch heads the standings with 1,067 points.

Daniel Andre Tande of Norway sits second, on 953, with Stefan Kraft of Austria a further 33 behind in third.

Action is set to continue until Sunday (February 12) across both events.
