The International Federation of American Football (IFAF) has invited member federations to bid for the 2018 Under-19 World Championship.

Any interested members are eligible to submit an application to host the youth event.

This must include information on the proposed host city, budget and games and practice venues.

Proposals for the international airport, accommodation, meals, local transport and the environment must also be included.

An anti-doping programme, to include a minimum of two tests per participating team, is another requirement.

It is expected that the tournament will feature a minimum of six and a maximum of 12 men's teams.

The deadline for expressions of interest is July 1, with formal applications required before September 1.

The IFAF Managing Committee will then make a final decision no later than September 15.
