The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) have put out a tender for companies wanting to produce kit for their team going to the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) in Ashgabat next month. 

As part of the process, the IOA are looking to get kit made for their athletes and staff to be used during the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and casual kit.

They also require a producer for the clothing which will be worn by their athletes during their events.

In a statement issued by the IOA announcing the tender, they say the expected size of their team heading out to Turkmenistan’s capital city is expected to be 241.

The sports Indian athletes are set to feature in according to the tender including snooker, cycling, tennis and dance sports.

Among the clothing items required for the team are sarees, blazers, track suits and socks.

Quotations are being excepted by the IOA until 4pm local time on Thursday (August 24).

The fifth edition of the AIMAG is scheduled to take place between September 15 and 24.
