Most of the names were already known but have been joined by India's Nita Ambani, Thailand's Nat Indrapana and China's Yang Yang. 

The reasons for their absence have not been given but Indrapana has been ill for several months. 

Ambani was only appointed a member last year. 

They join Kuwait's Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, Qatar's Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Namibia's Frankie Fredericks, Ireland's Patrick Hickey, Russia's Yelena Isinbayeva and  South Korea's Kun-Hee Lee, whose absences were expected.

It means that 85 of the 94 IOC members eligible to take part in the Session will be here.

There had been heightened speculation about which IOC members may not travel here following the raid by the Brazilian police on the house of Rio 2016 President Carlos Nuzman last week.

Nuzman, an honorary member of the IOC, reportedly had Brazilian, Russian and diplomatic passports confiscated by police.

He was consequently not able to leave Brazil in order to travel here and attend the IOC Session.

Nuzman has not been charged with anything but is suspected by Brazilian prosecutors of being the main link between Arthur Cesar de Menezes Soares Filho, a businessman nicknamed "King Arthur", and Senegal's former International Association of Athletics Federations President Lamine Diack. 

Diack was a voting member of the IOC at the time Rio de Janeiro were awarded the Olympic and Paralympic Games in October 2009.

According to Brazilian newspaper Estadao, investigators suspect that a large operation was carried out involving voters from South America and Asia, as well as Africa.

Investigators have reportedly warned that they would "closely monitor" which members or honorary IOC members did not appear for this week's meetings. 

Peru and Brazil have an extradition treaty. 

Hickey has been "self-suspended" from the IOC since his arrest in connection with ticket offences at Rio 2016.

Fredericks has not attended any IOC meetings following allegations of bribery linked to the vote eight years ago to award the Games to Rio 2016.

Sheikh Ahmad informed IOC President Thomas Bach earlier in the week that he planned to travel to Turkmenistan to oversee final preparations for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat.

Lee, the billionaire chairman of the Samsung Group, has been in a coma since suffering a heart attack in May 2014 and his family had already requested he ceased being a member of the IOC at the end of this Session.

Sheikh Tamim, the Emir of Qatar, is facing an unprecedented crisis in his country after four of its Gulf neighbours - Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates - cut off relations with it. 

Isinbayeva, elected as a member of the IOC Athletes' Commission during Rio 2016, announced in July she is expecting her second child.
