Historic double Olympic gold medallist Ester Ledecká of the Czech Republic was beaten on her return to International Ski Federation Alpine Snowboard World Cup action as Russia's Milena Bykova won the women's parallel giant slalom event in Kayseri.

Ledecká, the first woman to win individual gold medals in different sports at the same Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang last month after taking the Alpine skiing super-G and snowboard parallel giant slalom titles, finished second behind Bykova in Turkey.

Bykova, a member of the Olympic Athletes from Russia team at the Games, overcame the Czech star in the final.

Daniela Ulbing of Austria was third after she defeated Ekaterina Tudegesheva of Russia.

Germany's Stefan Baumeister won the corresponding men's event after big final opponent Edwin Coratti of Italy failed to finish.

Third place was claimed by Tim Mastnak of Slovenia as compatriot Marguč crashed out of the small final.

Bankes, who qualified in top spot, recovered from a crash to finish third behind compatriot Loccoz.

In the men's final, Haemmerle led an Austrian one-two as he beat team-mate Hanno Douschan.

Italy's Michela Moioli leads the way in the race for the overall women's title as she has 6,810 points.
