Former German national team ski jumper Michael Neumayer has been appointed as the International Ski Federation (FIS) Nordic Combined Continental Cup coordinator.

The 39-year-old is a three-time World Cup large hill winner and a team large hill silver medallist at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.

He will replace the retiring Toni Guggemoos, another former German international who stepped-down at the end of last season.

FIS said in a statement that they "wish Toni all the best in his retirement and thank him for his many years of service".

A raft of other management changes have been announced by the FIS.

Wim Rossel, the Organising Committee race chief at St. Moritz, has been appointed FIS European Cup ladies coordinator.

He replaces Janez Flere, who has transitioned to the role of FIS Alpine technical and administrative coordinator.

Frenchman JP Baralo joins the FIS as the new ski and snowboard cross race director overseeing both disciplines.

Doris Kallen, who worked with the local Organising Committee for last season’s FIS Junior Nordic World Ski Championships in Kandersteg, will replace Jeff Ellis as the cross-country media coordinator.
