Colombian duo Carlos Serrano and Nelson Crispin are hoping to overhaul Brazil's Daniel Dias in the overall World Para Swimming World Series standings when the final leg begins in Berlin tomorrow.

Competition is due to take place over four days at the Berlin SSE in the German capital.

Dias is defending champion in the overall men's event and leads the overall standings with 4,111 points.

Brazil's 14-time Paralympic champion will miss the finale, however, thus potentially opening the door for someone to overhaul him.

Serrano, another reigning Paralympic gold medallist, is currently second overall with 4,070 points.

Three-time Paralympic silver medallist Crispin is fifth with 3,973.

Third placed Chilean Agustin Abarza will also compete in Berlin as he looks to improve on his tally of 4,065 points.

A new women's champion is guaranteed as Italy's defending champion Monica Boggioni only lies 105th this time around.

Great Britain's Louise Fiddes is the current leader with 4,022 points but faces a battle to remain on top.

The Netherlands' Chantalle Zijderveld is second with 3,937 points.

Canada’s three-time Paralympic champion Aurelie Rivard shares third place with another Briton in Maisie Summers-Newton.

Both currently lie on 3,895 points and all of the top four are entered in Berlin.

The event is due to feature 550 swimmers from 47 countries.
