Double world champion Yassine Gharbi made it four wins from four on the final day of the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Tunis today.

The 28-year-old took the win in the T34/53/54 400 metres, having already won the 200m, 800m and 1,500m on home soil.

He finished the 400m in 47.62 seconds, having set a new world record earlier this year of 43.46 secs.

Elsewhere, another Tunisian in Sonia Mansour won the women's T11/36/37/38 100m in 14.44 secs, while Argentina's Yanina Martinez finished just behind Mansour to top the T36 world rankings.

South Africa's double Paralympic and world champion Charl du Toit is still the man to beat in the men's T37 400m.

The 25-year-old ran 52.45sec at the Rades Stadium to win comfortably, having already won the 200m in a world leading time.

Algeria’s Paralympic and world bronze medallist Mohamed Fouad Hamoumou was another African to perform well today.

He emerged victorious in the T13 400m in a time of 50.75sec, while Morroco's Ayoub Sadni took the T47 title in 50.31sec.

Another Tunisian, meanwhile, won the day's only distance race, taking the win in the men's 5,000m in 15:03.77.

Out in the field, gold medallist from Rio 2016 Maroua Ibrahmi easily won the women's F31/32 club throw with 26.26m, while her teammate Hania Aidi won the women's F53 javelin to move top of the world rankings.

Another emphatic win came in the F12/13 men's discus, where London 2017 gold medalist Saman Pakbaz finished over 10m clear of everyone else with a throw of 47.14m.

The F34 men's shot put was a lot closer, though.

Only three centimetres seperated teammates Siamak Saleh Farajzadeh and Mohsen Kaedi, who threw 11.52m and 11.49m respectively.

Argentina’s Hernan Urra won the men’s F35/36 shot put and Oman’s Mohammed Al Mashaykhi took gold in the F32 event thanks to his final throw of the day.

Syria’s Wasim Alrezk, who came second in the F55 men's shot put on day one, reached the top of the podium in the F55/56 men's discuss today with a throw of 34.19m.

The 2018 World Para Athletics Grand Prix series now heads to Berlin in Germany for the final event of the season from June 30 to July 1, before August's European Championships take place in the same stadium, the Friedrich Ludwig Jahn Sportpark.
