Morocco overcame defending champions Nigeria to secure the boys' football gold medal at the African Youth Games in Algiers.

The Moroccan team claimed a 3-1 win over Nigeria in the final today.

Mohammed Radid opened the scoring for Morocco in the 20th minute to give his side the lead.

Their advantage was doubled two minutes after half-time through Othmane Laghrib, who scored Morocco's second of the match.
