Thalia Terrero of the Dominican Republic beat Mexico's Michelle Navarro 5-2 in the under-50kg final, Claudymar Garces of Venezuela defeated Brazil's Tais Oliveira 5-0 in the under-61kg final and the under-68kg title went to Paulina Ramos of Mexico, who beat Chile's Andrea Pinto 5-0.

Mexico earned two golds from the men's under-21 kumite, as Ignacio Goni beat Joao Vitor Oliveira of Brazil 4-1 in the under-60kg class, and Juan Manuel Castro claimed the over-84kg title with a narrow win over Agustin Perez of Argentina.

Andhi Avila of Peru, competing under the World Karate Federation (WKF) flag due to his country being suspended, beat Bolivia's Cesar Fernandez in the under-67kg final, while Marco Dos Anjos of Brazil beat Alonso Calvillo of Mexico to take the under-75kg title.

Maxym-Olivier Rivest of Canada beat Brazil's Fernando Candido 5-1 in the under-84kg final.

A WKF team beat Brazil to the kata team male under-21 title, winning 5-0, while the women's crown went to Brazil who beat Mexico 4-1.

In the kata team cadet and junior female category, the US won gold with a 4-1 win over Canada, while a WKF team beat Venezuela in the equivalent male final.
