October 8 - British Weight Lifting, basking in the success of teenager Zoe Smith (pictured), has joined the Twitter generation in a bid to keep fans up to date with all the latest developments in the sport.



"We want to make it as easy as possible for weight lifting fans and the media generally to find out about the sport,” said British media officer Frazer Snowdon.

"Twitter is just one of several new ideas we have to make this possible."
