Australian Taekwondo is looking to add to its coaching team prior to the World Poomsae Championships in Taipei.

Action in the Taiwanese capital will take place between November 15 and 18.

Expressions of interest are being accepted for three prospective coaches who will work with the country's senior, junior, cadet and master athletes.

Up to 30 athletes could be on the Australian team travelling to Taipei in all.

Criteria required for the chosen trainers includes coaching experience at international level competitions.

Strong "technical and tactical knowledge" of poomsae taekwondo is also required as well as knowledge of World Taekwondo competition rules.

"You are able to apply these through relevant and strong coaching skills," a job advert states.
