Overall titles across several disciplines will be up for grabs during the last stop on this year's Festival of Extreme Sports (FISE) World Series in Chengdu this weekend.

The event, scheduled to run from tomorrow until Sunday (November 4), will see overall champions crowned in events including BMX freestyle, skateboarding and roller freestyle.

In the International Cycling Union BMX Freestyle World Cup women's standings, 17-year-old American Hannah Roberts has a slender lead over 18-year-old German Lara Lessmann.

Roberts occupies top spot but is just 2,300 points in front of Lessmann, winner of the mixed team title at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires earlier this month.

American Nick Bruce, who earned victory at the corresponding event in Chengdu last year, is poised to claim the overall men's title in the same discipline.

Only disaster will prevent Veteran Slovakian Richard Tury from earning the FISE World Series Skateboard crown as his nearest rival, Japan’s Daisuke Ikeda, is not competing.

Tury trails Ikeda in the standings but is set to leapfrog the Japanese athlete into first place at the conclusion of the competition in the Chinese city.

Action will also be held in BMX flatland, mountain biking and scooter events during the four-day event.
