Pathways are announced to qualify for the 2019 World Team Cup ©ITF

Dates and venues for the four regional qualification events for the 2019 BNP Paribas World Team Cup have been confirmed by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

Men’s and women’s winners from the Americas, African, Asian and European qualifiers will go forward to the World Team Cup, the wheelchair equivalent of the Davis Cup and Fed Cup tournaments due to take place in Israel in May.

The USTA National Campus will host the Americas qualifications for the second successive year, while the African qualification event once again returns to the Nairobi Club in Kenya.

For the first time since regional qualification competitions were introduced for the World Team Cup in 2012, the Asian qualification event will be held at the National Tennis Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

The four regional qualification events will conclude with the European qualifications, which will be held for the third successive year in Vilamoura, Portugal..

The Americas qualifier, organised by the United States Tennis Association, will be at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida from January 29 to February 1.

The African qualifier, organised by the Kenyan Lawn Tennis Association, will take place from February 14-17 at the Nairobi Club.

The Asian qualifying tournament, organised by the Lawn Tennis Association of Malaysia, will be held at the National Tennis Centre in Kuala Lumpur from March 1-4.

The European qualifying tournament will take place at the Vilamoura Tennis Academy from April 2-6.

The World Team Cup will then take place from May 13 to 18 at the the Larry and Mary Greenspon Israel Tennis Centre in Ramat Hasharon.
