The world's top exponents will compete in the Malaysian capital in what is the fifth of seven scheduled stops on the tour over 10 months following events in Rostock, Calgary, Bolzano and Madrid.

The series will conclude with meetings on Australia's Gold Coast from November 15 to 18, and finally Singapore from November 23 to 25.

Kuala Lumpur will see a revival of activity in the Series since the last event in Madrid in July.

The season so far has been a familiar story of Chinese domination.

After securing eight golds at the Grand Prix in Bolzano, China were similarly successful in Madrid.

Yiwen Chen was among those to top the podium in Italy and she repeated the feat by winning the women's three metres springboard competition in Spain.

Chinese success continued in the men's 10m platform event, as Xiaohu Tai finished at the top of the standings.

China's Jingjing Jiao and Xiaotong Zhang triumphed in the women's 10m synchronised platform competition.

 Xiaohu Tai and Huang Bowen clinched gold for China in the men’s synchronised platform by scoring 427.92 points.

And China celebrated gold in the final event of the Grand Prix as Yiwen and Wu Chunting won the women's synchronised springboard by scoring 310.86.

Kuala Lumpur is likely to be another familiar chapter in the same story.
