World Championship silver medallist Wang Xiaojing claimed gold in the women's trap event, with Chinese team-mate Zhang Xingui in third.

The silver medal went to home favourite, Sarah Alhawal, who lost the final shoot-out with Wang for the gold.

Wang qualified third for the final round, with a total of 116 points from the first five rounds, with eventual silver medallist Alhawal topping the original standings.

The Kuwait shooter had two perfect rounds to finish on 120 points before the final.

Thailand's Chattaya Kitcharoen was eliminated first on 17 points before Lebanon's Ray Bassil ad Chinese Taipei's Wan-Yu Lin followed.

Zhang finished on 32 points in the final as the top two were required to compete in a shoot-off to decide the gold medallist.

With both shooters on 43 points, the pressure showed for Alhawal who missed her second shot which Wang converted to give her the victory.

In the 10m air pistol mixed team final, China were successful again.

China's Jiang and Wu led a one-two finish for their country, with team-mates Wang and Wang taking home silver.

Jiang and Wu scored 299.9 in the first stage of the competition and continued their lead after the first elimination of Kuwait's Awad and Al Nmshan.

After the second and final stage of competition, the Chinese pair finished on 480.6, in front of Wang and Wang on 475.3.

Chinese Taipei's Yu and Kuo were third with a total of 413.0.
