Canada's Mikael Kingsbury continued his domination of the International Ski Federation Moguls World Cup season with victory in front of a home crowd in Calgary.

The Olympic champion had already won all three moguls events so far this season and continued his fine form at the WinSport Canada Olympic Park.

Having progressed through the early stages of the competition, Kingsbury achieved a score of 84.17 points in the final.

His rivals were left trailing behind again with Sweden's Walter Wallberg proving the closest opposition to the Canadian.

Wallberg finished the competition with a score of 80.98 to end as the runner-up.

Japan's Daichi Hara rounded off the top three on 78.14, with Australia's Matt Graham missing out on the podium on 77.12.

Kingsbury's latest success saw him stretch his World Cup lead, as he now boasts a total of 400 points as the halfway stage of the competition approaches.

France's Benjamin Cavet lies second on 230, with Wallberg a further 30 points adrift in third place.

Just 30 points separate the top three skiers in the women's World Cup standings, following Kazakhstan's Yuliya Galysheva earning victory in Calgary.

She achieved a score of 79.10 in the women's final to secure a first success of the season.

Her score proved enough to edge France's Perrine Laffont and the United States' Jaelin Kauf, who rounded off the podium on 77.96 and 76.10 respectively.

Laffont remains at the top of the World Cup standings after four events after finishing as the runner-up for the second time this season.

The French skier won the opening event of the season, before placing third in the second competition.

Her total of 320 is narrowly clear of Kauf, with the American lying in second place on 305.

Galysheva boosted her prospects of winning the overall World Cup title with her victory, which moved her onto 290 points.

The fifth World Cup will take place in Lake Placid on January 18, with the stop in the United States marking the midpoint of the season.

Competition in Calgary took place at the Olympic Park used for the 1988 Winter Games.

The Park would have been key to the city staging the 2026 Winter Olympics, but Calgary withdrew from contention in November after the public voted against bidding in a referendum.
