Olympic silver medallist Shinobu Ota of Japan secured victory in the 63 kilograms event at the United World Wrestling Greco-Roman Grand Prix in Hungary.

Ota, who finished second in the 59kg division at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, thrashed China's Erbatu Tuo 6-0 in a one-sided final in Gyor.

The available bronze medals in the weight category were claimed by Meysam Dalkhani of Iran and Sailike Walihan of China following their wins over Stig-Andre Berge of Norway and American Travis Rice respectively.

Former European under-23 champion Gela Bolkvadze of Georgia took the 82kg honours with a dominant 9-2 victory against Danish opponent Rajbek Bisultanov.

Yaroslav Filchakov of Ukraine won the first bronze medal as he dispatched Iran's Jamal Esmaeilikhatoonabad.

He was joined on the podium by Burhan Akbudak of Turkey, who ousted Jalgasbay Berdimuratov of Uzbekistan.

Tracy G'Angelo Hancock of the United States triumphed at 97kg, edging Fatih Baskoy of Turkey by virtue of scoring the last point in a tense match which ended 3-3 after regulation time.

Italy's Nikoloz Kakhelashvili and Abudourexiti Alimujiang of China were the recipients of the two bronze medals, beating Sweden's Pontus Lund and Hassan Aryanezhad of Iran respectively to finish third.

Shmagi Bolkvadze of Georgia won the 72kg crown in the Hungarian city after opponent and team-mate Sachino Davitaia was forced to withdraw through injury.

Selcuk Can of Turkey and Hungarian Martin Toth earned bronze by defeating Germany's Michael Widmayer and Istvan Kozak of Hungary respectively

The event is the second of four UWW Greco-Roman Ranking Series events being held in 2019 and is due to continue tomorrow.
