In his February newsletter published on the IWRF website, Allcroft, who was elected President in August last year, announced a survey will be being sent out to members soon asking for their proposals.

"I would like to hear from our membership and partners and I would encourage you all to contact me to discuss any thoughts of issues you have about the sport," he said.

"We will be developing our next strategic plan this year and we need to hear your ideas.

"A survey will be going out over the next month with specific questions.

"I know you will take the time to complete it and I look forward to seeing the results."

The announcement from Allcroft came as part of a wider post updating the wheelchair rugby community on how he his implementing his campaign pledges.

Discussing the first, which was improving communication, Allcroft said his newsletter is now available in Spanish as well as English.

He also said the IWRF are looking to create "something new" alongside its website, saying "technology has moved on".

"I will also be reaching out to individual nations to hear what is happening at the national level," he said, before adding that he is also set to review the governance structure of the IWRF.

"I believe it is really important to keep up-to-date alongside the development and professionalisation that we are seeing more and more in the Paralympic Movement.

"Our colleagues in the International Paralympic Committee are undertaking a major review of their governance and the IWRF are supportive of the process."
