Argentina and England will contest the Blind Football World Grand Prix title in Tokyo after both nations won their semi-finals.

England faced Japan in a last-four clash at Shinagawa-ku Tenno Park and triumphed 2-0 against a team who had topped their group.

The English will renew their rivalry with Argentina having lost to the South Americans in the group stage.

Argentina recorded a 2-0 win in their semi-final against Spain.


The final is scheduled to take place tomorrow in the 2020 Paralympic Games host city, while Japan and Spain will battle for third place.

Classifications matches also took place today, with already-eliminated teams aiming to end the tournament on a high.

Thailand celebrated a 1-0 win over Colombia to advance to the fifth-place play-off.

They will face Turkey, who were 3-1 winners against Russia.

Colombia and Russia will meet in the seventh-place play-off.
