Russia’s second title came in the women’s up to 45kg event, where only two athletes competed.

Larisa Berieva won with a lift of 80kg, while the host nation’s Katalin Engelhardt managed 50kg.

Indonesia’s Ni Nengah Widiasih, the Rio 2016 Paralympic bronze medallist, won the women’s up to 41kg competition.

The silver medal winner at the opening World Cup event in Dubai achieved a lift of 91kg to triumph.

She was followed by Russia’s Yulia Vorontsova and Poland’s Monika Szram, who achieved 82kg and 57kg, respectively.

Britain’s Olivia Broome secured the women’s up to 50kg title with a successful attempt of 94kg.

Russia’s Marina Beketova settled for second on 90kg, while Morocco’s Halima Lemtakhem lifted 74kg for third place.

Mariana Shevchuk of Ukraine emerged the winner of the final women’s competition on the opening day.

She lifted 117kg to claim the up to 55kg title, ahead of Najat El Garraa of Morocco and Wandi Kongmuang of Thailand.

The duo achieved 97kg and 75kg, respectively, to complete the podium.

The men’s up to 49kg event was won by Azerbaijan’s Parvin Mammadov following a successful attempt at 140kg.

Slawomir Szymanski of Poland and Saudi Arabia’s Maysar Olaymi completed the medal places on 128kg and 125kg, respectively.
