Yuxi Chen claimed gold in the women’s 10 metres platform final at the International Swimming Federation (FINA) Diving World Series in London.

The Chinese diver topped the standings after the five-dive competition at London Aquatic Centre.

She ended the event with a total of 413.80 points, with her team-mate Minjie Zhang the runner-up on 385.80.

North Korea’s Kim Mi-rae had led the competition in the early stages, but ultimately settled for third place.

She achieved a total of 360.90.

Britain’s Jack Laugher won the men’s three metres springboard in front of a home crowd.

He achieved a total of 562.65 points to win the event ahead of his team-mate Daniel Goodfellow.

Goodfellow finished on 500.55 to end second, while China's Zongyuan Wang scored 481.70 for third.

The mixed 10m synchronised platform event saw China's Minjie Zhang and Yu Duan win gold on 356.28 points.

North Korea's Jin Mi Jo and Il Myong Hyon were second on 333.48, with Russia's Iuliia Timoshinina and Nikita Shleikher completing the top three on 316.05.
