Antoni Ponce and Alice Tai have been crowned as World Para Swimming World Series champions following the series finale in Berlin.

Ponce became the first Spaniard to top the men's individual charts while Tai is the second British woman to claim the Series title.

Scores for the overall rankings are calculated by adding up the swimmers' two best point scores achieved in two different World Series events.

Ponce was able to dethrone Brazil's Daniel Dias, winner of the first two Series editions, with 4,166 points earned in Glasgow and Lignano Sabbiadoro in Italy.

There was a tie for second place between Italy's Simone Barlaam and Reece Dunn from Britain as the duo collected 4,124 points each.

In Berlin last weekend, Briton Tai broke seven world records in four days, and coupled with her performances in Glasgow, she amassed 4,329 points to clinch the series.
