Spain’s Antonio Bailon and Fatima Galvez won the 2nd European Games mixed team shotgun trap title at the Sporting Club in Minsk, defeating Italy’s Giovanni Pellielo and London 2012 champion Jessica Rossi.

The Spanish pair finished with a score of 44 targets in the gold medal match - four more than their Italian rivals.

Russia’s Alexey Alipov and Daria Semianova won the bronze medal match, shooting 45 to the 43 targets achieved by Italy’s Valerio Grazini and Silvana Stanco.

In other shooting action here on day four of Minsk 2019, Russia's Artem Chernousov and Margarita Lomova scored 94.0 points to defeat Latvia's Agate Rasmane and Lauris Strautmanis, on 81.3, in the final of the mixed team 50 metre pistol at the Shooting Centre.

Bronze medals went to Georgia, with Nino Salukvadze and Tsotne Machavariani scoring 87.7 points.

Romania earned its first gold medal of these European Games after sharp-shooter Laura-Georgeta Coman scored 251.3 points in the women's 10m air rifle final.

Switzerland's Nina Christen finished second on 250.0 points, while Czech Nikola Mazurová was third with 228.7.

Israel's Sergey Richter took the gold medal in the men's 10m air rifle.

He scored 250.8 points to edge past Russia's Sergey Kamenskiy's score of 250.0.

Filip Nepejchal of Czech Republic took bronze with 228.9.

Italian favourites Michela Castoldi and Davide Donati duly delivered as they earned the gold medal in the aerobic gymnastics mixed pairs event.

The Italians scored 21.850 points, with silver going to Romania’s Andreea Bogati and Nicolae Barna Dacian, who totalled 21.800.

Bronze went to Russia’s Tatyana Konakova and Grigorii Shikhaleeev, who scored 21.300 points.

Poland’s Lukasz Jaworski and Artur Zakrzewski won the men’s synchronised title in trampoline gymnastics at the Minsk Arena.

The Poles scored 51.450 points to edge clear of Ukraine’s Anton Davydenko and Mykola Prostorov, who totalled 51.350.

Bronze went to France’s Allan Morante and Sebastien Martiny, who scored 50.790.

Lea Labrousse of France secured the women’s individual title.

Labrousse scored a total of 54.800 points to finish ahead of Georgia’s Luba Golovina, who totalled  53.990.

The bronze medal went to home athlete Hanna Hancharova, who scored 53.970 points.
