Africa’s only World Para Athletics Grand Prix of 2019 is set to begin tomorrow with Tunisia’s capital Tunis hosting three days of competition.

The Stade Olympique de Radès will provide the setting for the 13th edition of the Tunis international meeting.

The venue has been ratified by the International Association of Athletics Federation.

Tunis is the seventh host of a World Para Athletics Grand Prix event this year.

It follows in the footsteps of Dubai, São Paulo, Beijing, Arizona, Nottwil and Grosseto.

The last two legs in 2019 are scheduled to be held in Bydgoszcz in Poland, from July 19 to 21, and Paris, from August 29 to 30.

Attention will then turn to the World Para Athletics Championships, due to take place in Dubai from November 7 to 15.

The World Para Athletics Grand Prix series is now in its seventh year.
