The Swedes only just claimed overall victory after Switzerland scored zero in the second round after collecting five penalties first time around.

It meant their team of Beat Mandli, Nikalus Rutschi, Paul Estermann and London 2012 Olympic jumping champion Steve Guerdat had to settle for silver.

Italy won the bronze medals as Luca Marziani, Giulia Martinengo, Paolo Paini and Bruno Chimirri ended on nine penalties.

The event was the fifth of the Europe Division One season.
