The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee (CTOC) held its Sports Affairs Workshop at the National Sports Training Centre in Koahsiung.

More than 200 people from sports industry, Government authorities and schools took part with Olympic Agenda 2020 and good governance among the discussions.

A number of expert speakers addressed the event with sports law another important topic on the agenda.

Kao Chin-hsiung, the director general of sports administration at the Ministry of Education, gave a welcome address.

"Sport is the best channel to bring people together," he said.

"We are honoured to have the experts guiding the newcomers with their experience in international sports affairs."

Jacqueline Shen Yi-ting, secretary general of CTOC, also spoke about the importance of passing down experience to the younger generation. 

She added that more than 400 persons had joined CTOC's human resource database in the past nine years.
