Poland came out on top in the team event as action concluded today at the International Fencing Federation Women's Épée World Cup in Estonia's capital Tallinn.

Renata Knapik-Miazga, Aleksandra Zamachowska and Ewa Trzebińska beat Russia's Tatyana Andryushina, Violetta Kolobova and Anastasia Soldatova 45-44 in the final at the Kalev Sports Hall.

Barbara Rutz completed Poland's gold medal-winning quartet.

The bronze medal went to the United States' Katharine Holmes, Courtney Hurley, Kelley Hurley and Anna van Brummen.

In the semi-finals, Russia defeated the US 45-29 and Poland overcame China 39-28.
