Austria's Stefan Kraft claimed victory in the second HS134 event as action concluded today at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Men's Ski Jumping World Cup in Nizhny Tagil.

Kraft, the double world gold medallist in 2017, prevailed with a total of 277.6 points in the Russian city.

Switzerland's Killian Peier finished second with 254.6 points, while Japan's Ryoyu Kobayashi came third with 252.3.

Norwegian Daniel-André Tande, the overall leader in the FIS Men's Ski Jumping World Cup standings, followed up his joint 21st-place finish yesterday by ranking fourth.

Yesterday's winner, Yukiya Sato of Japan, had to settle for a joint 11th-place finish today.

Kraft is second in the overall FIS Men's Ski Jumping World Cup standings, trailing Tande by 64 points on 196.

Germany's Karl Geiger, yesterday's runner-up, is third with 192 points.

Kobayashi is fourth with 190 points.

The next leg of the FIS Men's Ski Jumping World Cup is due to take place in Klingenthal in Germany from Friday (December 13) to Sunday (December 15).

It will be a joint event with the women, whose competition will conclude on Saturday (December 14).
