Canada's Justin Kripps, Ryan Sommer, Cameron Stones and Ben Coakwell recorded their second consecutive victory in the four-man event at the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) World Cup in Lake Placid. 

Piloted by Kripps, the quartet finished in 1min 49.45sec, just 0.05 seconds faster than their winning time yesterday. 

Johannes Lochner, Christopher Weber, Florian Bauer and Christian Rasp were in second with 1:49.75, while fellow Germans Francesco Friedrich, Martin Grothkopp, Thorsten Margis and Candy Bauer came third in 1:49.80.

Kripps led Canada to victory in the four-man event yesterday.

Racing in front of a home crowd, the best result for a United States team came from Hunter Church, Joshua Williamson, James Reed and Kyle Wilcox in fifth.

With two races in the season now completed, Kripps tops the four-man bobsleigh standings with 450 points. 

Lochner is second on 402, while Oskars Kibermanis of Latvia is third. 

The IBSF World Cup season continues in the German resort of Winterberg from January 3 to 5.
