The second leg of the 2020 World Para Alpine Skiing World Cup season begins in Prato Nevoso tomorrow.

Three days of slalom racing are scheduled at the Italian resort, the first action in the discipline this term.

Skiers have faced a quick turnaround, as the opening World Cup of the campaign in Veysonnaz, Switzerland, only concluded on Sunday (January 12).

Three super-G and two giant slalom races formed the action at the curtain-raiser, which was the first of six World Cup legs scheduled.

Prato Nevoso is making its debut as a World Cup venue.

It means high-class international competition is returning to Italy after Sella Nevea co-hosted last year's World Championships with Kranjska Gora in Slovenia.

Canada's Mac Marcoux and France's Arthur Bauchet were among the stars in Veysonnaz.

Both recorded a hat-trick of super-G wins in their respective visually impaired and standing categories.
